What an awesome day we had in KidzWorld! Today we gave a lesson about salvation and had opportunity for kids to respond. We are thrilled and excited to tell you that 13 kids accepted Christ as their Savior today!!! Some of the kids were invited by friends and it was their first time to be in church. What a beautiful image of a church. Kids inviting kids to church and hearing about how Jesus loves them and responding to it! To every single person that helps in KidzWorld…Rejoice in what God did through you today at NewSpring!
Here is a picture of all the boxes of food the kids have brought for the food pantry at Victory in the Valley. This coming Sunday is the last day for bringing food. The first week of May we start a brand new offering project. Can’t wait to tell the kids what it’s going to be. The kids have been doing an amazing job with all of our offerings and are making a difference in so many people’s lives.
This is a picture of the work that is going on throughout the week in our KidzWorld Theater. This picture shows them pouring the footings for the balcony. This coming week they will set the steel posts and finish pouring the final layer of concrete. Nate and Philip had lots of fun with some other people as they hand dug each hole. Some holes were 4 feet deep and 8 feet long. They figured they dug out 176,000 lbs of dirt by hand! Everyone has been working hard on this project but the kicker is that once Friday rolls around, they have to put everything back in place for the weekend. Then they tear it down Sunday evening to get ready to work on Monday. Thanks to all who have helped keep KidzWorld going.

This so exciting to read about all the great things at NewSpring. Even though I live in Denver, Colorado I fine myself very interested in your children’s ministry.
I’m so happy to see so many new people join the family of Christ. Each person in our family is a great blessing and very important. Kudos to your boys and Dale (and any other volunteers helping with the route 252 projects) for doing an awesome job to show children how much we care about them and in effect how much Jesus is showing his love for them through these wonderful people. I think I would have accepted Christ in my elementary school years (versus my late teens and on my own) if I would have had the great atmosphere of Kidzworld that allows kids to have fun and feel that they are apart of something more important, solid, and amazing. Great job with all that you do for the kidz and as always, my favorite blog to read all the news. 🙂

Yesterday (Sunday), I heard a little 3 yr old say , as he rushed to his classroom, “Hurry, Mommy, I got to get to class!” Mommy said that he asked each day of the week if it’s the day to go to church – what a rush to hear even the preschoolers saying “I want to go to church.”

I just want to say that my three year old loves Kids World. In fact Tuesday I dropped a quarter for him to find to put into his piggy bank but when he found it, he said, Oh I found money. I asked him what it was (trying to use it a learning experience) when he said, “it’s Jesus money and I need to take it to church. I thought that was the greatest thing to hear him say. I have not talked to him about giving tithes but it was just something sweet to hear out of the mouth of babes.
