KidzWorld Jingle Jam FX
Parents mark your calendar for December 10 & 11 and come and experience KidzWorld FX! This is a FREE EVENT for the whole family and it is a great way to introduce NewSpring Church to your family and friends.
You are your child’s best influence!
If you are a parent, you have the awesome responsibility of taking a brand new baby who can do nothing for himself and raising that child to be a productive and hopefully, God-honoring adult. Does that seem a little overwhelming at times? Of course it does! But God has given you strategies in the Bible that can help you set your course. KidzWorld and NewSpring Church are here to help. We offer exciting environments every weekend that are designed to give kids a thirst for knowing God. Then we provide tools for parents (and grandparents or other caring adults) to use in reinforcing God’s principles. You can make the most of what your child learns in KidzWorld by taking advantage of the following:
- Monthly take-outs are either projects or assignments or sometimes just suggestions of how you can implement the weekend’s lessons. They are handed out as your child leaves KidzWorld usually on the first weekend of the month.
- The Parent Cue app is available for your mobile device for $1.99. It includes things to do during drive time, meal time, bedtime and hang time that will help you reinforce the teaching from the weekend. It has a setting for preschoolers and one for elementary age. It is a great way to catch up on what your child missed if you aren’t able to attend church. By the way, it even includes a parent time with great parenting information and tips.
- Studio252.tv is a website that has some similar components to the Parent Cue app but is even more interactive. There is no cost for the site and it’s fun to use.

Exciting Days Ahead at NewSpring Church
Several events are happening this summer in KidzWorld and The Wire. All of these events are completely free! Take a look at what is in store for you and your family.
Friday, August 21 at 7 p.m.: KidzWorld Back-to-School FX is happening in the main auditorium. FX is a family experience designed for the whole family. Kids and parents will have a great time enjoying music, games, funny skits and some valuable lessons on the Big Idea of Wisdom. FX is a great way to enjoy a free night of family fun and it is also a great opportunity to invite friends to see what KidzWorld and NewSpring are all about. The program lasts about an hour and childcare is available for those who are age 3 and under.
Friday, August 28 at 7 p.m.: The Wire Event (main auditorium) is a brand new event for 5th-8th graders and their parents. Students will have a great time experiencing music, games and other craziness. Then Senior Pastor Mark Hoover will speak about the importance of the middle school years. Parents and students will get a chance to meet staff and volunteers and get a glimpse of the future of The Wire ministry as it looks forward to their new facility. Mark your calendar and don’t miss this event!
March ’15 – Patience
Hey KidzWorld kids and families! For the month of March, we’ll be learning all about the big idea of Patience – waiting until later for what you want now. Our memory verse for the month comes from Psalm 27:14 Wait for the Lord. Be strong and don’t lose hope. Wait for the Lord! Our Bottom Lines for the first four weeks help us remember what to do when it’s hard to wait
When you think you can’t wait:
– think twice. (Week 1)
– think about what’s true. (Week 2)
– keep your cool. (Week 3)
– talk to God about it (Week 4)
During the last week of March, as we get ready for Easter, our final bottom line is: Remember that God’s plan is bigger than yours. We hope to see you in KidzWorld soon!
February ’15 – Kindness
Hey families! This month in KidzWorld we’re learning the Big Idea of Kindness – showing others they are valuable by how you treat them. Our goal is that, by the end of the month, your kids will understand kindness much better. The bottom lines for the month are: there’s always time to be kind, be kind to your family and friends, be kind to people who are overlooked, and be kind to people who aren’t kind to you. Our memory verse for the month comes from Luke 6:31 – Do to others as you want them to do to you. We hope to see you in KidzWorld soon!
January ’15 – Commitment
Happy New Year, Families! 2015 is here! In honor of the New Year, all month long we’ll be learning about the Big Idea of Commitment – making a plan and putting it into practice. We hope this Big Idea will help your family stick to those New Year’s resolutions. But more importantly, we want to help grow your child’s relationship with God. We’ll be encouraging your kids to practice hearing God, praying to God, talking about God and living for God. Our memory verse for the month comes from 1 Timothy 4:8 – Training the body has some value. But being godly has value in every way. KidzWorld FX Jingle Jam
This past Friday we had our annual KidzWorld FX Jingle Jam and it was a huge success. With over 1800 in attendance, this was our biggest KidzWorld FX to date. Those in attendance were treated to Christmas Carols from our children, fun games, a humorous retelling of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol and the baptism of 23 children.
Our Big Idea of this event was Generosity – making someone’s day by giving something away. As an exercise of this Big Idea, KidzWorld is participating in Project Generosity. You can grab a ornament from the Christmas Tree in the lobby and return the gift under the tree. Also, KidzWorld will be have a month long boys vs. girls contest to see who can donate the most diapers. Bring those diapers into the 252 Theater next time you visit.

December ’14 – Genorosity
Hey, KidzWorld Kids and families! The Big Idea for the month of December is Generosity – making someone’s day by giving something away. What an important topic to discuss during the Christmas season! Our memory verse for the month comes from 1 Timothy 6:18 – Be rich in good deeds… be generous and willing to share. All month, we’ll be teaching your kids how important it is not to get “wrapped up” in our stuff and be thoughtful of others by giving things away. That’s a lesson we could all benefit from hearing. November ’14 – Gratitude
Hey Kidzworld kids and families! All month in Kidzworld 252 we’ll be talking about Gratitude – letting others know you see how they’ve helped you. Our memory verse for the month comes from 1 Thessalonians 5:18. – Give thanks to God no matter what happens. God wants you to thank him because you believe in Christ Jesus. We’ll be teaching 5 different lessons with 5 different values of Gratitude. By the end of the month, we hope to help your kid understand value of taking a moment to say “Thank you.” We hope to see you and your kids in Kidzworld soon.
