There are so many areas of our lives where knowledge can benefit us. Striving to be better at what we do can lead to more and greater opportunities. The truth of this big idea is even more important in our spiritual lives. The more we learn about God, the better we can understand our relationship with Him and how He wants us to live. This month in Route 252, elementary kids are learning some great ways to gain knowledge of God:

• What God says is the most important thing to know.
• Discovering what God says helps you follow Jesus.
• Discovering what God says helps you make the wise choice.
• When you don’t know what God says, ask.

We have a great family challenge to help kids grow in their knowledge concerning God and His Word. The challenge is for kids to learn all the names of the 66 books of the Bible in order. Kids who are able to recite the books from memory the last 2 weekends of January will be entered into a drawing for a brand new Action Bible. AND parents can get in on the fun as well! Parents who can recite the books in order will be entered into a drawing for a $40 gift card for the NewSpring store. We even have an awesome video version of the books in order that may help you. So families, get busy learning something new together!
